**Warning: A
word of caution about using the “special” technique found in this video.
This method can produce dramatic results. Sometimes a horse will do a
spectacular stop the third or fourth time the method is applied. An
inexperienced rider may not be prepared for this. Therefore, I recommend
only experienced horsemen, who are advanced riders, attempt to use this
“special” technique.
Detailed Training
Demonstrations
So you could get the most out of this video, I wanted you to see horses
making mistakes. The five horses I used for the demonstrations weren’t
finished horses. Some of them really stopped. Some of them didn’t.
In each situation you’ll see what to do to get the horse to improve.
There is slow motion and still camera shots to give you a better
understanding of timing a stop.
Production Values
(Please Read)
The picture quality and sound
aren't as good in this video as they are in all my other videos.
You'll love the good information and the slow motion shots. But, there
is a flaw in the sound track.
Note: In the first 15 minutes of the video
you’ll hear the wireless microphone make an occasional buzzing sound.
After that, it clears up and is fine. You can plainly hear every word I
say, and it’s a "small" nuisance, but I wanted you to be aware of it
anyway.
Two Solid Hours of
Extremely Detailed Information
This video is more than twice the length of most videos. Along with all
the training demonstrations you’ll also learn about other important
stuff as well. There are segments on equipment, conformation, shoeing
and “what to do if things go wrong”. All in all, I think you’ll find
this video extremely informative.
Important:
I strongly urge you to get volume 1 and volume 2 at
the same time. Volume 1 contains valuable, "must have" information but it's only half
of the story. You'll have a much better understanding of how to get your
horse to lay down those big stops (with correct head position) after
watching both videos.
