Use This "Headsetter" For Good Head Position

This "Headsetter" Helps Your Horse Learn Good Head Position

Easily teach your horse to work with a low head and level top-line

Headsetter

Many trainers use this piece of equipment to teach their horse good head position while stopping, rolling back, working cattle etc. Especially useful when the horse is in the process of learning to work in a curb bit.

It’s designed to help lower the horse's poll. When used properly, the Headsetter encourages the horse to work with a low head and level top-line.

Unlike a tie-down, this Headsetter works mainly on the horse's poll. A horse can comfortably carry his head in a "natural" position.

Made of 3/16" hard-twist, nylon/poly rope with braided rawhide buttons.

The sliding nose-piece only comes into affect when the horse's nose is raised way too high.

Be aware, this is the ONLY headsetter on the market designed to work like this.

Cheap copy-cat headsetters are NOT made the same as this one.

This professional-quality headsetter comes with a fully adjustable, nylon tie-down strap with a stainless steel snap.

Note: Headsetter goes on the horse’s head first, then the bridle goes on over it. When used with an "Easy Stop", the Headsetter goes over the Easy Stop.

Headsetter (adjustable) with nylon tie-down strap $89.00 Add to Cart

@Mandy: Hi Mandy. Thank you for your interest. I prefer not to have people return tack after it has been used as there is no way to resell it.

The video clips on this page show everything you need to know about the headsetter, how it works and how to use it.

Either you like what you see or you don't.

If you don't… you should not purchase it.

Take care,

Larry T.

Mr Trocha, thank you for the time you take out of your life to help "us" and our horses. My question is first I don't live in a real cutting horse or competition area. I live in Tuscaloosa county Alabama. I broke my back when I was 24 I was amazingly blessed and I'm able and can do anything anybody else can. You would never be able to look at me and tell I had been backed over by a dump truck on th job but saying that I have all the time in the world to do what ever I want to do. I really want to learn ride and compete in the cutting horse world I use to rope but during the accident I also broke my roping shoulder (BAD) were do you recommend to get started in riding cutting horses? I can and do ride well but there just isn't much opportunity around this area. Thank you for your time. JC

@JC JOHNSON: Hi JC. There are some top cutting trainers who live in Alabama.

Sam Shepard is a long-time friend and one of the best trainers in the nation. If I were you, I'd try to get in with him.
