Robert AlbertsI envy you Sir. I just turned 42 and out of the blue I have a desire to own a horse. I have ridden before, but know absolutely nothing when it comes to taking care of them. I can see that there is a lot of work involved. But, I am no stranger to that. Growing up on farms in my youth, I know that it is a 7 day a week job. Which does not bother me in the least. And as much as I would like this to happen; I know that it wont.
But I do get pleasure from watching your videos(which you make look all to easy). And for that I thank you.

I have a 14 yr old gelding that will work wonders when put in front of a cow, but I am having a very difficult time getting him to have any suppleness at all when just working or exercising him without cattle. It seems he never got taught to respond in a soft manner when he wasn't "working." What can I do to teach this old dog some new tricks?
LarryTrocha@Megan Kolbe: Hi Megan. When it comes to suppling, you'd do the same thing with this old dog as you'd do with a young pup.
