For years I've rode for pleasure not until I was introduced to your web sit have I ever been more in tune with my horse and myself. I have grown so much in horsemanship I can't believe it. It's simply your guidance and knowledge that has put me at another level. My or should I say my daughters horse has came from 12 y/o brudmare that has had no previous training to levels I've never been able to attain and have done so in short order. Just 5weeks she is coming on to me in ways I could never have dreamed.
Thank you

Thanks for getting back to me Larry. I appreciate hearing from you. Monty and I are doing well. More bad diagnosis but still riding when pain has subsided. I will keep Monty as long as I am walking this earth. I have heard from Mr. William Shatner. He is such a nice guy. He absolutely loves Montana Doc. He wrote back to me three weeks after I wrote to him. That was fast. But right now his stable is quite full. I Love getting to know the celebrities that we bumped into over the many years of training and showing. Remember Red Skelton? He bred to Montan Doc, I wish I knew how the foal turned out.
Take care Laryy
Stay well

Hi Larry! Boy you sure aged well. I don't know if you remember me. I'm Ray Suiter's ex-wife Mary. I hope you are doing well. I really like that paint horse "Berry".
The reason I am writing to you is, I finally got my Montana Doc colt.. It only took 26 years, but I have been patient. And he is worth every moment in time. He is one of only a handful of Montana Docs Son's left. I couldn't be happier. His name is Montana Rein he is a beautiful bay stallion with all the reining and cutting moves. The gentleman who origianlly owned him (from birth) passed away and it was purly in the lords hands to get him to me. I tell everyone, God gives you what you wish for, but you just don't know how much time you have to enjoy it. Joe says he is the horse that looks the most like his dad.

I have been diagnosed with an incurable disease and I want the him to go to the best home possible. Someone who knew Montana personally. I asked Ray if he would partner up with me so his name would also be on his papers, but he has anal-vision and I can't get an answer from him. Joe as you may know, has his own deamons to fight and I don't think I want him as part owner. Who knows what he might do with him. So this is why I am writting to you. I have always liked you Larry. You were a heck of a hand, back in the 70-80's and now a magnificant trainer. I trust you more than the Suiters. If you could help me out, I would have piece of mind. Monty's Dam side has some names you might recall, like Callans Man and Mr. Linton. He was meant to be mine. Can you remember Mr. Linton? I excersied him every day. Monty has his perfect QH head. I will send you some photos if you are interested. His personallity is like his fathers very well behaved. If me, someone with heart disease can ride him 9 months after standing in is stall because of my illness, can just jump on him and have him respond to me like I just rode on him yesterday, and perform beautifully, is a testament to his heart and soul. I bought him three yrs ago, and have enjoyed riding him everyday. He has produce foals of all color. We have gotten sorrels, palominos, bays, buckskins, (his mother was a buckskin) and this year we bred to a foundation black paint mare. Can't wait to see what we get. Anyway, he is reg. AQHA and Foundation breeding.
Larry if you might be interested in him, I would be happy to send you any and all info. on him. I trust you will give him a great home. I will be sending this message out to two people who have sparked an interest in the past. Mr William Shatner, and Mr. Joe Montana. YOU are the one I would choose over them. You are in great company.
Thanks for reading this long message, great luck to you in all that you aspire to.
Sincerely yours,
Mare

@Mary Christiano Suiter: Hi Mary. I am so sorry to hear about your illness. I'm hoping for the best.

I truly appreciate the offer of your stallion. I'm honored.

And the fact that he is out of a Mr. Linton mare makes me really like his breeding.

Unfortunately, I'm just not in a position to take him.

Hopefully, Mr. Shatner or Joe Montana have a home for him.

They are both good people and would take good care of the horse.

Take care,

Larry T.

Larry,

I love all the advice you have given about different situations on how to get your horse to respond. Sometimes I just get stumped and then here you come with an aide. Works for me.

Thanks so much for your help
Diane
