Cutting & Cow Work Clinic Using The CowTrac Mechanical Cow
Cutting/Cow Work Clinic with Larry Trocha. Bring your horse and have a good time learning the basics of cutting & cow work using the CowTrac flag.
Learn techniques which will improve your horse for cutting cattle, reined cow horse and ranch versatility.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL LEARN…
- How to prepare your horse before you work him on cattle.
- How to build your horse’s desire to work a cow and be more cowy.
- How to improve the horse’s responsiveness to the rider’s hands & legs.
- How to teach the horse to be more accurate when working the cow.
- How to confidently sit the stop and turn with good balance.
- How to improve your horse’s form, style & eye appeal when working.
- How to use your hands, legs and body to help your horse work his best.
At this clinic, I’m also going to cover many of the little, overlooked, horsemanship skills that get left out of most clinics.
And to tell you the truth, it’s the little things that add up to make a big difference in your riding and your horse’s performance.
I should also point out, you will get plenty of individual attention. The clinic will be limited to a very small group of people (4 to 8).
NOTE: Be sure to bring your own snacks, bottled water etc.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS CLINIC
You should attend this clinic if you want to learn how to ride and train your horse to work cattle.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a novice rider or a more advanced rider. Doesn’t matter if your horse is green or advanced.
Because it’ll be a small group, there will be plenty of time to address everyone’s special needs. Plus, this will be a laid-back atmosphere where you can feel comfortable asking questions or making mistakes.
In other words, you don’t need to worry about being too green or too advanced to get some good from attending the clinic. You’ll fit right in.
Before you attend the clinic, I recommend you watch these FREE TRAINING VIDEOS about training a horse using the CowTrac.
I don’t expect you or your horse to do what I do in the videos but it’ll give you an idea of the things we’ll work on.
