Very interesting Larry,I see a number of your sucessful horses and students are female, you get double accolades for that kind of success. I am an older female new to reining/cutting, so what you shared in this article means a lot to me in my pursuit. Ultimately I hope to get some one on one instruction from you in the future and I am always watching your sale horses. Sincerly, Maree T

@STEPHANIE MOORE: Hi Stephanie. Thank you for your generous offer. I'm sure you would be a good apprentice. However, I simply don't need anybody right now. I do all the training myself and I already have a groom and loper.

If you are looking for a job, there are plenty of top cutting trainers out here who regularly need help. You should start contacting them. NCHACutting.com has a list.

Take care,

Larry T.

Dear Mr. Trocha:
I wrote you before, via your email. But I am sure you are so busy that it was screened and 86'd.

Anyway, I am an experienced rider (35 yrs) but want to train under you. I have never had a trainer, and took my TB to the Del Mar National Horse Show, where I won the Amateur/Owner Western Pleasure Championship. At age 17. I showed successfully for years, using what I saw others doing, to train my own horses.

But now I own the best horse ever, and with his breeding, am looking for either an apprenticeship or assistant trainer position. I will muck stalls, feed, water, blanket, turnout, whatever you need to accomplish my goal of being one of your students. I have worked for (summers off from college) Lee Garner Cutting Horses, and worked 7 days a week, loping, tacking up, cooling, washing, everything Mr. Lee wanted. I loved it.

I have a Continental King grandson, Continental Candyman, whom I broke myself and have had for two years - but he has so much potential, I need to give him a real job!

Please, let me know if you need me. I am mature, educated, open to learning much more, dependable, clean and sober 27 yrs, physically fit, and the hardest working student you'll ever have.

I have a stellar resume and references, and would love to speak with you about any possibilities you need.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Moore
619-715-4891 - ALSO LOOKING TO RELOCATE!

PS - Your training videos and email newsletters are fantastic for us poor horse owners!
