Hi there Larry,

Thank you and your team (Horses, and people behind the scenes) for doing what you do.

Yesterday I was out with Lola Rose for nearly 3 hours, just trying to mount her. As soon as I'd lift a knee, she'd back off. So, I'd back her right on up, then bring her back again.

By this time, it was very dark and the sun had gone down. But, she weren't getting away with it, and all I wanted to do was mount and dismount. After nearly 3 1/2 hours of this, and an extra bit of lunging in between (if she has the energy to do the wrong thing, she has the energy to do the right thing).

The time came, and I finally mounted her. I sat for a while, just enjoying the view, and then we walked on for 20 yards, and I dismounted.

Today has been a spiritual day. We went through exactly the same scenario as yesterday, taking 2 hrs to mount this time. Again, we hit darkness. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to get back in the house, so we called it a day.

Indeed I was disheartened, because she had got away with that behavior. My thoughts on our future together, were very thin, as she just does not like to cooperate most times, although very capable when she doesn't want to be caught in the pasture.

I logged into my email, to find a newsletter from yourself. The title stood out like shining gold. "HORSE TRAINING - STAND STILL TO MOUNT"

Wow! Now if this wasn't a sign, then what was.... I watched your video, and gained reassurance that I was doing the right thing. no matter how long it takes people, don't give up! As Larry states in this video, even if it takes numerous attempts, then that's what it takes. We must persevere.

I'll be back out there tomorrow, and we shall go through these very useful training methods. We shall get there, I just wish Lola luck. She's gonna need it!

Thank you Larry.
