I finally got my horse taking his appropriate lead. I had a challenge getting him into his left lead. Now, however when he is in it he wants to just race very fast. I sit down and try and relax and stay off his head and see if he will play himself out. I have tried smaller circles and really making him work then if he wants to run, I thougth I would make it hard for him. He still just runs and won't relax into a nice lope. Any more suggestions? Thank you Maggie

As a dog and horse trainer I find your training tips positive. I am writing a horse training book and I wished I had your way of explaining things.

@gabe: Hi Gabe. I cover that in detail in the 3 video clips on spinning. I suggest you watch them. I also cover this question in the Training Tips.
