Back to Basics Novice – Beginner Reining Clinic
Reining clinic with Larry Trocha. Bring your horse and have a good time learning the basics of a good rein.
Learn techniques which will improve your horse for reining, ranch versatility, barrel racing and ranch sorting.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL LEARN…
- How to teach your horse to do a good stop on his hindquarters.
- How to teach your horse to do a correct rollback over his hocks.
- How to improve responsiveness to the rider’s hands & legs.
- How to teach the horse correct leads and good lead departures.
- How to confidently sit the stop and turn with good balance.
- How to develop your horse to be light and supple.
- How to use your hands, legs and body to help your horse work his best.
At this clinic, I’m also going to cover many of the little, overlooked, horsemanship skills that get left out of most clinics.
And to tell you the truth, it’s the little things that add up to make a big difference in your riding and your horse’s performance.
I should also point out, you will get plenty of individual attention. The clinic will be limited to a very small group of people (4 to 8).
NOTE: Be sure to bring your own snacks, bottled water etc.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS CLINIC
You should attend this clinic if you want to learn how to ride and train your horse to do basic reining maneuvers or put a good handle on your horse.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a novice rider or a more advanced rider. Doesn’t matter if your horse is green or more advanced.
Because it’ll be a small group, there will be plenty of time to address everyone’s special needs. Plus, this will be a laid-back atmosphere where you can feel comfortable asking questions or making mistakes.
In other words, you don’t need to worry about being too green or too advanced to get some good from attending the clinic. You’ll fit right in.
Before you attend the clinic, I recommend you watch this FREE TRAINING VIDEO about training a horse to stop and back up.
I don’t expect you or your horse to do what I do in the video but it’ll give you an idea of how to use your hands, legs and body.
