Hello Larry, I am a fairly new rider and am looking for a horse to do some ranch sorting and team penning with. I have a wonderful mare now that was trained in Western Pleasure and was given to me by my father because she is safe on the trails, doesn't really spook, trailer loads great and has a kind disposition. I have started her on cows and she shows great potential. She's quick and very cowy. She just doesn't have the training background to move off her hocks and get down low. I live in Maine so trainers in this sport are hard to find so I am sending her to PA to be trained for a few months. So I've come to the decision that I would like to find another horse that is completely trained on cows so I always have a horse to fall back on. I know it's good to have at least two horses in case one comes up lame or something. I know I mentioned I'm a fairly new rider but I have a good seat and will ride anything that's willing. I would just want a horse that has a kind disposition, that trailers well and knows their stuff. And preferably one that won't bullnose me because I'm a new rider. If you have something that fits criteria please let me know. I'm looking for the performance horse that will help me along as a rider and be able to have success on. Thank you for your time. Also wanted to say your DVD's and online videos are so helpful. I watch them every spare minute I have available. I ride at least 5 days a week and try to watch at least one video per week and work on what your video was on. Within the last month of watching your videos my riding has improved so much. My trainer has commented how well I've been progressing and I told him it had a lot to do with your videos. You make it very easy to understand and see what you are asking for. I'm so glad I found you on the web. Thanks so much! Gail

Hi Larry I am looking for a new horse, I do a lot of ranch sorting and a little cutting. I have a 17 year old cutting horse ( he is great!) but he is starting to slow down when we compete on back to back days. I am looking for a horse that can do it all with out a lot of tune up. So not too young and not to old, if you have any thing I would be interested in please contact me I live in southern california and can come up when ever. thank you for your time
thank you Jennie Christian
