Hi Larry, Good Job. The reason I like your news letters alot is simply this - you tell it straight up - it is what it is. For those who get up set with your comments are probably those people have having serious problems. Well bred horses already know how to do the things we want them to do, we have to learn how to coMMUNICAte with the horse in a mannner that they understand what want we want them toi do and when we want them to do it.

Keep up the good work, you are doing a great service to all, whether they realize it or not. I really like your comments and videos.

Hi Larry:

Thanks for your great tips dealing with those of us in the horse "business." I've been searching for the video you mentioned above:

"The NCHA just released a new video that features three judges critiquing several show performances and explaining why they scored each run the way they did."

Could you please tell me the name of the video and who the judges are? I'd like to purchase it but could not find it on the NCHA website. Thanks again.

Hi Larry,

I have been reading your newsletter for a few months now and really enjoy it. I especially appreciate your no nonsense answers to people who really need to hear what you have to say.

I just wanted to let you know that I put my three year old stud into training, he was gelded while at the trainers, he was a very well mannered stallion, he is now an extremely well mannered gelding. My comment is I found an excellent trainer, he did what he said he would do, the horse is going great, and I look forward to bringing him home in another month and having a blast riding him. He has him spinning, flying lead changes, rollbacks, sliding stops and a headset to brag about. This is after only three months of training. There are honest trainers out there people just need to do thier research and find them. I have no desire to train a horse, I taught him respect and manners and of course basic leading, tying etc. I left him alone until he was ready for the trainer, he had a blank slate to work with.

I may not watch your videos so I can train my horse but let me tell you they sure give me a solid foundation of knowing what to look for when I have one in training. They are a wonderful resource of knowledge that you can use to just educate yourself. You are much less likely to be taken advantage of when you have the knowledge you can gain from watching your videos.

Keep the videos coming!

Hi Larry

That was very good newsletter, I especially liked the the part about trainers. I have worked with a few trainers and unfortunately I learned the hard way, but i never gave up on horses. I know there is alot of people that give up because they have been misled or screwed over by trainers. It is sad, One of the trainers is highly recomended in this area but like you talked about it seems there is always a red flag if you just know what to look for.
Tanks for all your honesty
