@Jennifer: Hi Jennifer, Let me start by saying, both are good machines and will do the job for you.

Myself and the vast majority of professional trainers prefer the CowTrac because it works better in so many ways that I can't type them all here.

Do a small survey and call just about ANY cutting or reined cow horse trainer and ask them which cow they use.

By the way, you should also call the owner of CowTrac, Nelson Sieden.

He'll be happy to help you any way he can.

Be sure to tell him you are one of my members.

Hi Larry,

Just reading online reviews of the CowTrac versus other brands... what's the major difference between the CowTrac & the Procutter?

Cheers - love your site!

@Dave page: Hi Dave. Not really because the Ultima has the built-in record and play memory and the ll model does not.

If you ever feel you want the ability to have hands-free operation, better go with the Ultima.

@Will: Hi Will. The flag isn't necessarily better. It's just easier to put up and take down.

The flag requires only one cord but the cow requires two cords (the extra cord to support the cow's body).

Most trainers exclusively use the flag mostly for that reason.
