i am learning with my 8 yr old qh how to barrel race and my halter tie down is not working i am using a split d ring snaffle bit could i use your head setter to help keep her head down to listen to the cues better

Hi larry, im from colombia im 22 years old, and i recently (4 years) started y quarter horse breeding program with my brother, becouse we like to roping and cutting horses, and we are having problems with our horses becouse the first ones that we import they where all redy broke, but the colt, we dont have the experience, and the proper tecniques to train and broke a horse, so my question is if you can give me any information about a horse trainer that lives in kentucky (lexington), who could teach me proper whay to start and train a quarter horse (cutting or reinig). and i can work for that person for free and help him on hes daily work in the farm and with horses, and he teach me how to train the horses. thank you very much, by the way im goig to be at kentucky for one month ( april 16 to may 13). i will apriciated any hel you can bring.

Sam Shepard is a long-time friend and one of the best trainers in the nation. If I were you, I'd try to get in with him.
